I love your taste in music, I was listening to this last week.
shareA friend and I turned on to Los Lobos way back at the beginning. Not LA beginning, but touring national on the strength of this remake. Absolutely one of my fave bands and we could drop in a bunch of their songs here and they would all fit so well.

What a funky song back then, in a really great way.
And Mac continued to be very relevant over the years even if he didn't have much chart success. He was charismatic and cool and could play piano and perform like the seasoned veteran he was. We just knew he was the real deal.
