If the admins do not ban Painekiller IMMEDIATELY, they are worthless.

This is just one example of how this monster has been attacking EVERYONE since he arrived:
https://moviechat.org/nm0874339/Donald-Trump/5cf186bd1350da615ff34137/Trumps-battle-with-the-treasonous-deep-state

"[–] Painekiller (258) 39 minutes ago
Are you for real, traitor?"

He has been posting "traitor" and "treason" constantly, which when taken literally, historically invokes a death penalty.

Then it got disturbing just now:

" [–] Painekiller (258) 34 minutes ago
Even a wood chipper would be too good for your un_American carcass!

Yes, he is now posting fantasies about disposing of the body after executing a traitor.

The moderators/admins are allowing trolling to get out of hand because it creates traffic and ad revenue but it is NOT sustainable. IMDb did the same thing until it was too much and they had to shut down the boards.

The mods only enforce the second rule, No Flaming. They basically skip over the first rule, No Trolling.

I'm sick of it and I'm going to be responding back to my latest moderator PM and telling him exactly what I think of their blind-eye attitude.

Until this morning I was unaware this member was trolling MovieChat, flooding a board with his or her threads, and repeatedly flaming other members. None of what you said above is true. We do not allow trolling, and this had nothing to do with traffic and ad revenue. If anything, we're concerned that vitriol on MovieChat drives members away and encourages more of it.

We enforce both the no flaming and no trolling rules, however trolling often involves judgment calls and time. Very often one member says another is a troll because they consistently disagree.

Members are allowed to express their opinions as long as they don't break MovieChat's rules. What those opinions are aren't our concern, yet invariably we moderators are accused of being biased in either direction, whether the subject is politics or MCU versus DCEU, or in this instance of creating traffic and ad revenue. We apply the rules here as evenly as is possible, regardless of the opinions expressed.

Dear Moderator,

I have only been in this site for a short time and I can guarantee that trolling exists and that the mods allow it.

I have reported posts and the mods have failed to taken action.

Hello EthanEdwards,

We are aware that there is trolling on MovieChat. The more popular a site becomes, the more frequent the spamming and trolling.

To reiterate, members who post opinions contrary to someone else's does not mean they are trolling. In your view this thread is trolling. It isn't. The OP may consider your posts trolling. They aren't either. The majority of the reports we receive for trolling are because the member reporting disagrees with a post or thread, which is why there will be times you'll see no action taken. There has to be more to it than that for us to determine a member is breaking our no trolling rule.

Shouldn't a thread like this be kept in private rather than one member encouraging other members to gang up on someone?

That is why I feel this thread is aggressive.

Then don't go to the Trump board, you're just keeping that beast alive.

If you don't like Frog don't read his posts.

I've never heard of this user.
