Movies you can't not watch

When switching channels , I'll often happen across a movie I love and simply can't not watch:

Goodfellas
Jaws
Conan the Barbarian
Scarface

What movies do you have to watch when you stumble across them?

reply

Gremlins.

reply

It's really about streaks for me. I go thru a phase. Some I've burned out of completely.

Adaptation
Black Swan
Cape Fear
The Deer Hunter
Glengarry Glen Ross
The Road Warrior
Training Day
Taxi Driver
True Romance

And 2 that others have mentioned

Donnie Darko
All That Jazz

reply

I was thinking of adding Glengarry Glen Ross, which I absolutely adore, along with L.A. Confidential, both of which I used to watch quite regularly, but at the moment I'm going through a Kevin Spacey withdrawal.

reply

Cheesy I know, but:
Starship Troopers
Independence Day

reply

Both are super entertaining
Nothing wrong with that

reply

Chewing gum for the brain.

reply

I love Starship Troopers. It's so fun to watch.

reply

Rocky-Rocky IV
First Blood
Flash Gordon
Back to the Future
Superman 1-3
Tropic Thunder
Police Academy 1-5

reply

Some real goodies there
Rocky IV, the most montage-tastic of all the Rocky films, is an 80s classic
I'm not able to tune out when I come across it

DRAGO!!!!

reply

Great tunes in Rocky IV, Still gets the adrenaline going after all these years. πŸ‘

reply

If he dies, he dies.

reply

Ha!
I still use this quote all the time...

Wife: There's something wrong with the dishwasher

Hilarious Husband: If it dies, it dies
*cue laughtrack😬

reply

Agreed about Tropic Thunder.

That gets shown quite regularly on British TV, and every time it's on I feel an urge to watch it until the end, and miraculously it still feels fresh.

reply

Anything with Audrey Hepburn. Even awful movies like Green Mansions.

reply

You have a fascinating range in terms of genres
From Gialli to 60s love dramas
You are a tough guy to pin down Moose!

reply

when I knock a few too many back 'Roman Holiday' has been known to tear me up.

reply

I've never seen that one but nothing wrong with getting emotional Moose, I get itπŸ‘

reply

I don't watch depressing, violent, or SciFi movies. Comedies are great, or something to do with music.

reply

"The Wizard of Oz" draws me in every time I see it on.

reply

That's one for sure!

reply

Any old Jackie Chan movie.

reply

The Chan Man is good!

reply

Old man Chan though... not so good.

reply

Eh, gotta love the guy
A funny little old man that could certainly still kick my ass
