Are you Over or Under 40 years old?
Because let's face it folks, 40 is the scary number, the one where you can't excuse immature actions anymore. Well... a lot less. 40 sounds like the "real adult" age.
Im under.

Keep the family happy, be a proper mate to your partner, earn decent money, avoid breaking any of the bigger laws and it's all good!

If this was facebook I'd 'like' your comment
shareI'm under 40 still, but not for long. I'm 37. My thirties weren't much different from my twenties in the fact that I've lived in the same apartment for almost 15 years, I've never married, etc., Etc.
Regardless of marital status there is still an emptiness in my life. I can't really put my finger on it but I know that it's not necessarily fixed by marriage. That would be great, but so many people think it's panacea and they end up divorced.
Over 40. I think 30 is the age you can't excuse immature actions anymore. If you haven't figured things out by then, you might not ever do so.
shareI agree. I put up with friends immaturity in their 20s but when they were in their 30s, showing no signs of maturing, I drifted.

shareJust because you're over 40 doesn't mean you can't retain a sense of fun and have not one f*ck to give if anyone thinks that's immature.
Just because you're under 40 doesn't mean you can't be deadly earnest or have a lot of 'city miles'.
Over 40. by the way.
I agree, I was just mentioning the mental vision most peeps have about 40. It implies for me anyway; I always felt like when I'll be 40 i'll become a real adult. Not before. But deep down inside I know damn well that I'll still be the same.
shareOne thing I always liked about my dad was that he never lost his childlike sense of humor. He could be mature and business-like, but never lost his love of fun and games.
shareOver 40...under 50...so there's that ๐
