Hi Xxx

I dropped in to see how it was going. I'm completely speechless as to what I'm seeing.
He would be so proud to know he meant this much to so many people.
I picked my mom and sister up this morning and we've been talking and crying all day.

I brought up this place and was trying to explain it to them which was difficult because I'm not sure I understand
it myself. We started reading everything that's being said about Dewey and we all started crying.
Then we started laughing then we started crying again.
I can't express to you enough how much this means to me. I don't want to intrude on you anymore but
felt the need to say I thought I would be facing this week alone and all of you have made this week
much easier for me. It's the best therapy I could have ever hoped for.

Just wanted everyone to see...

And Mrs D...I think I speak for everyone when I say thank you to you for taking such great care of our friend in the real world. For as much as we loved him there wasn't a thing we could really do, but you could and you did. You made him happy and nobody deserved happiness more than Dewey.

He was the best sort of fellow
Ive been all around the 'Net and never met a Gent like our Man

He made me laugh out loud
Kicked my butt when i got out of line
Fired off jokes like a cowboy
He had more class than school
Forgave me when i acted like a jerk
Rescued Dogs as a life goal
Charmed us all every time
Was Heroic in the worst of times
Had wisdom for days

Genuinely teary-eyed just now and im not some wimpy guy...
We met a splendid man
God Bless you and your family, i cant imagine what you are feeling

It was a privilege to know Dewey. People will ask how could we know someone from a chatboard. My answer is “Dewey’s persona came through loud and clear. What we read on the board and in our PM’s with him was the genuine Dewey. He wasn’t some anonymous poster behind a computer. For us to grieve and miss him as we do...he had to be the real deal. He was in our lives for a short while...too short, but he touched our hearts💕. When he left, he left behind many tearful eyes, but he also left behind smiles and laughter.” Go Dewey forever!
