A very honorable mention to St Elsewhere. Fantastic show but once you have seen it that show is very hard to recapture the magic so it does not have the impact in reruns. Glad to see Keeping Up Appearances mentioned. Kind of an opposite to St Elsewhere to me as the plot is somewhat simplistic but the central theme of a person who thinks that they are better than they are is universal. I would love to see an American version of KUA but it might cut too close to the bone for a lot of people. Still worth a try as All in the Family was an Americanized version of a British show and we all know how that turned out.
