What’s your favorite guilty pleasure movie?

We all have those favorites that we know deep down just aren’t good movies but we love them for whatever reason. One of mine is 2012. The acting is subpar at best, but that one scene when they’re driving in a limo and the road is literally crumbling behind them for 3-4 minutes which then leads to and RV with them same thing AND THEN a plane. It’s just hilarious. Visuals are a lot of fun in it too. I know it’s not a great movie but I love it. What’s yours?

i've always had a soft spot for lair of the white worm. just watched it a few months back for the first time in many years, in fact. it's currently streaming on shudder, at least in canada.

and i actually really like wild things, too. it's wonderfully trashy & hugely fun i say.

7 Years in Tibet. Pitts accent was terrible lol. I think he's said in an interview that he's embarrassed of that one.

there are tons of trashy horror/slasher films that i love. i don't want to list them off - a lot of them are the ones you'd think of when you think of trashy horror, and i don't even consider them guilty pleasures. i just love sleazy low-budget garbage. i don't think that's the only thing a person should watch, but i love wallowing in it in appropriate doses.

i'm more embarrassed by some of the really conventional, normal movies i've liked over the years. a while back i watched one of the mission impossible films, i think it was the fourth one, and i thought it was everything you'd expect from a movie like that. fun & exciting & silly. i'm more embarrassed by that than the fact that i've seen every russ meyer film.
