What’s your favorite guilty pleasure movie?

We all have those favorites that we know deep down just aren’t good movies but we love them for whatever reason. One of mine is 2012. The acting is subpar at best, but that one scene when they’re driving in a limo and the road is literally crumbling behind them for 3-4 minutes which then leads to and RV with them same thing AND THEN a plane. It’s just hilarious. Visuals are a lot of fun in it too. I know it’s not a great movie but I love it. What’s yours?

I love the live-action movie version of Street Fighter with Jean Claude Van Damme. There's lots of cheesy but memorable dialogue. Many of the fight scenes are amusing because everyone is really hamming up their characters while still taking themselves seriously. I'm sure the campiness is intentional. The movie tries so hard to appeal to people who never heard or played the games and those who are fans that neither side is going to get what they want out of it. It's like a rollercoaster ride. You don't know what to expect but you know you're in for cringes and thrills alike.

Quite a great start you have going here, Jenny! I remember seeing 2012. I almost laughed out loud at that scene with the senile prediction man opting to face the incoming death of volcanic ash (I think), refusing to flee to safety, just extending his arms out over his body embracing his inner love child. He looked like a Jedi failing to use the force.

Whiteout. The movie had terrible reviews, and I'm not sure why. I love the atmosphere and ambience of the film, also there's not much more immersive that finding yourself isolated on the frozen southern continent. Also Kate Beckinsale, amirite?

I enjoyed that one too, Agreed on Beckinsale.
