You're ALL invited to a party!

It's my virtual housewarming party, and I can't think of another group of people I'd rather have over than y'all :)

8 days before I had to be out of my last (awful) place, I was sweating bullets having not yet found anywhere to move, after searching every day for two months. But thankfully this one came through and I LOVE it!

I've got a fully stocked bar -- vodka for Stratego, single malt for the newly returned Dewey, hard lemonade for GlenEllyn, and forgive me if I don't remember everyone else's poison, but, FULLY STOCKED BAR! So, whatever you please, I've got it here for you. Makes yourselves at home, feel free to partake of the hors d'oeuvre and whatever's in the fridge, and have fun! *clink*

It may be a bit crowded, as it's only a studio cottage, but hey, there's a roomy private outside area for us to party, and it's on half an acre!

Landlord husband has a wonderful droll sense of humour, and landlord wife and I have a lot in common too. She brought me a little basket of freshly laid chicken and duck eggs the other morning :)

I've got plenty of fresh eggs but will NOT have to be walking on eggshells, like i was constantly with my last landhorrors. AND, I'm safe here! No more evacuations!!!

Wanted to post this for a Friday or Saturday night party, but I've been so exhausted, I couldn't make it happen.
