Songs you hate and absolutely cannot stand?

I seriously cannot stand Train's "Hey Soul Sister" due to it being so annoying and heavily played on the radio, it was one of those songs you just couldn't escape from no matter how hard you try.

reply

I agree with you. I’ve always found Train annoying. Nothing against them, they just get way overplayed. Ordinary is a good song.

For me it’s mmmbop

reply

I did like "Drops Of Jupiter" and that's probably the only Train song I like.

i will remember you - sarah mclachlin.
i hate all things sarah mclachlan.
i hate the way every one of her songs wafts along with the same gutless atmosphere.
i hate her wimpy new age lyrics.
i hate the pinched look of sincerity always on her face.
i hate the sincere quiver always there in her voice.
gaah, she makes me sick.

That, I did not know. Just my opinion, but not one of his best compositions.

Anything by Seal. Kiss From A Rose is particularly irritating.

reply

I'm not a big fan of Seal either but "Kiss From A Rose" is one of the few songs I can tolerate by him, it's also one song I like better now than I did in the Summer of 1995 when it got overplayed on the radio.

The list of songs I hate is long and distinguished, but I'm going to just give a blanket statement and say anything from Taylor Swift.

She is the quintessential ear worm. Her annoying "songs" and irritating voice just bore through my brain. If I'm in a store and hear one of her songs in the back ground, I'll turn right around. My wife just laughs when I do this.

Another song I absolutely cannot stand is Madonna's version of "American Pie", I've thought she totally destroyed the Don McLean classic

I also don't like Huey Lewis/Gwyneth Paltrow's version of "Cruisin'" all that much either.
