YES! I have over 300 Archie comics. I actually paid my parents to use their credit card. I had a subscription. I loved getting comics in the mail.

Video games - back when the terminator consoles still existed
Toy cars
Cards - i bought so many packages
Cadaco All Star Baseball Games (the one with the spinner) & player discs. I still have 4 stacked up behind me here (I just turned and confirmed their presence).
Tudor Electric Football Games with the vibrating metal surface.
Lincoln Logs.
I have never heard of that Baseball game until now, but that is something I would have LOVED! I loved 1992 Williams Slugfest Baseball Pinball machine
shareThat's sounds like much fun.
shareYeah there was only one in my whole city (to my knowledge) it was at a local ice cream store. Was my favorite game. I would spend whole weekends there.
shareNot sports related but I'd play "Atlantis" for hours at a Gizmo's in the old market area of Omaha. I'd get off work at the 3:30, the wife not till 5. 90 minutes every afternoon. They ran me off a couple times for abusing the machine. I'd screw the legs a little to get it properly adjusted.
30 years later I found the machine in Vegas at a pinball emporium. Sadly, it just wasn't the same as that dark and dank place where I stood for years.
Fireworks
shareYES!
shareAbsolutely, they'd come over from West Virginia into Ohio each year and I'd buy a gross of M-80's in a wooden box with saw dust. The sight of that many M-80's was thrilling to a 13-year-old. I'd blow the shit out of everything I could when my parents were at work during summer vacation.
A direct hit, Padeen---bless your heart.
New Hampshire always had a poor selection of fireworks compared to down south. Even those little bottle rockets were illegal!
shareIn the puggies (arcade) playing games. Streetfighter 2 took a ton.
Star Wars toys that would end up being given to charity, thanks Mum & Dad.
Comics.
Garbage Pail Kids.
Muscle figures.
Joke & trick things that fooled nobody.
Anything that had the potential to rot my teeth.
Football (soccer) stickers although I wasn't into football, just collected the stickers because everyone else did so....
Computer/console games.
