I often if not always felt that if I had more money, as in, if my parents were continuosly rich from the time I was born, and we always had a big house, garden, lots of cars or at least several ones and technology, I would be a happy and happier man.
But is that just an illusion (read - rich people also suffer and cry)?
But does more money make at least SOME people more happy?

shareDepends on the individual. For some the provided economic security does a lot by itself, the ability to pay all your bills and help your kids with college etc can certainly make people happy. For other that like to give, being rich opens up so many possibilities in helping others which again can make that person happy. However simply being rich does not make a person happy, its what you do with it and how you live your life that makes you happy.

There was a study saying up to $75,000.00 helps, after that it doesn't matter. I was surprised the amount was so low as $75,000.00 does not buy what it used to.
shareI live in a constant state of fear. The minute I lose my health, my entire life is canceled. I don't have friends or family to lean on for support. If I can't pay the bills, i'm homeless. End of story. So yeah, having money and not having that shit on your mind every day has to make you a little better.
