Gargoyles!
One of the most wackiest horror movies you can ever hope to see. It was cool in its day but has aged horribly! Making it a surreal experience to watch.

Is it better or worse than Ghoulies?

I may have seen Gargoyles... But there was also an episode of one of those horror TV shows that was about a gargoyle come to life, so I may be thinking of that.
