Best Bill Murray line
"What if there is no tomorrow? There wasn't one today"
Groundhog day!
As he was dying in Zombieland he is asked if he has any regrets.
"Garfield,maybe"
I always laugh, because Garfield the movie, while stupid, weird and badly done made a boatload of money. I don't get it
shareI think I saw it,Bill was Garfield right? Kids movie I suppose they're always going to make money.
shareYeah it was Bill. Brecken Myer and JLH were the leads. I was a huge fan of the cartoon growing up and this movie was not good.
What is funny is they did a sequel as well, with Bill, Tim Curry and Bob Hoskins as voices.
These things rarely translate do they.
The joy of Garfield,or one of the joys, was that it was a story told in 3 or 4 frames.
I wish they still showed the old cartoons. On holidays you will get the odd Christmas special which is awesome. The Garfield cartoons they do now has weird animation and weird voices. Same with shows like Care Bears and Ninja Turtles
shareBark like a dog for me...
shareI can't quote it exactly because I don't know the full extent of what was said. But I could just imagine it...

Filming began on the set of Groundhog Day and already on day one, Andie MacDowell instantly became the most difficult actress Bill ever had to work with. It dragged out over the next couple of months. During that time Bill Murray, a man who uses his words selectively, had many one-liners that went right over Andie's head.
It's fun to think of what those one-liners might have been.
"Could we just script a few lines to make it clearer that she's not my mother?"
For me it has to be from Meatballs.
Even! Even if we win..If we win! Hah
Even if we play so far over our heads..
that our noses bleed for a week to ten days...
even if God in heaven above...
comes down and points His hand at our side of the field...
even if every man, woman and child.. held hands together
and prayed for us to win...it just wouldn't matter..
because all the really good-looking girls...
would still go out with a guy from Mohawk...
'cause they got all the money!
It just doesn't matter
if we win or we lose!
