I really do like the game and more modern complicated games always get effed up, could maybe do a lot with something simpler

I always wonder why they didn't go totally nuts with the Monkey Island franchise. Imagine a Pixar/Disney movie. A follow-up tv series. A huge potential for merchandise, action figures etc. Kids and their fathers would buy the lot.

The stories from the games are fun and brilliant, there are numerous well developed side stories and characters, they could go classic animation like in "The Curse of Monkey Island" or computer animation like in "Escape from Monkey Island". Most of the voice artists are alive and well... It's all RIGHT THERE!
