Adam Sandler films, after Little Nicky I checked out, but people still seem to enjoy him.

Thanks. I've yet to meet a person who didn't have an extreme reaction to the aforementioned films. If you're at a party, and the host announces he's going to put on one of these movies, half the crowd will immediately clear out, and the other half will be beside themselves with anticipation. And this goes for any demographic: young, old -- it doesn't matter. But I suppose it's better to provoke in someone a palpable response rather than none at all. Think about all the people in this world who are greeted largely with indifference ... Think about the kids you knew in school: the nerds and jocks and cheerleaders. These three kinds of people rarely, if ever, entered a room without causing a stir. Now, picture the kid occupying the middle of the social stratum -- between the jocks and the nerds. Those people enter a room and nobody notices. I don't know about you but I'd rather be the jock or the nerd. At least they don't go through life invisible like the person in the middle does.
