My contraband of choice is pop. Unfortunately, I have to ply this habit primarily in the winter months. Like most, I don't have many places to hid things on my person when it's warmer without drawing attention to myself. Wintertime, on the other hand, is a different story: I have a bulky coat that comes with spacious pockets galore, permitting me a place to hide pop, food ... you name it.

In our youth, back in the early 70's, we girls smuggled beer in our handbags.
In the 80's and early 90's I took our son and his friends to to the movies. I always brought in small bags of Cheetos, Chips and candy in my handbag. I bought the sodas at the theater though.
I remember taking Wendy's food to the theater a while back.

shareI used to. One day my son asked "why do we have to hide stuff when we go to the movies?". It really caught me off guard. I realized I didn't have an answer that I was ok with giving him,and I haven't done it since.
