Remember the good times at these..............

As a kid we went quite a bit. First my parents would take us and once I got my drivers license I would go with friends or my girlfriend. I remember when we first started going it was hard to hear the movie but then they had it so you could tune it into a radio station. Got any good memories of going to drive-ins when you were growing up?

I vaguely remember going as a kid but I remember going as a teen. It was a double date. We saw Poltergeist (I believe I had already seen it before) and I can't recall the other movie, as we went to a double feature.
The thing I do remember is I had something in my eye the entire night and I was very uncomfortable. By the time I got home, the makeup on that eye was completely off! My other eye, still in full makeup. I looked scarier than anything I saw on screen that night!

Have any of you seen Jaws on an outdoor screen while floating in a lake? Google it. I don't think I could do it! I get that creepy feeling in a pool during daylight sometimes. Logically I know there's no sharks in the pool but....
