My favorite place to vacation is Pigeon Forge,Tn. I call it Las Vegas for families.

shareI love visiting national parks. I've only been to a few, and so far Yosemite and Zion are my favorites. I would love to spend a whole summer hitting all the parks and wearing out my hiking boots.

Sort of related - When I was a little kid, there was a Ronnie Milsap song called "Smoky Mountain Rain" on the radio all the time. I used to insist it was actually "Smoky Mountain Range". I forget how it was proved to me that I was wrong, but I remember saying "I like 'Range' better anyway. You get rain everywhere but mountains are special".

My next trip is to Kenya and Tanzania to see the Serengeti, and go on numerous game drives. They will be my 26th and 27th countries (I think), and Africa will be my fifth continent. I'm really looking forward to it.

We always go to Nova Scotia for two weeks in August - God's country in the summertime.

shareWhat's that? Never been on one. Well once with my parents we went to Massachusetts and stayed at a Marriott hotel for the weekend with another family. I was about 10ish or so. I don't know why we even went there. I just liked swimming in the pool. Never been anywhere since. Would love to go to Australia though and see the Fruit Bats (Megabats) and all the different colorful wild birds etc. Australia might have the most dangerous fauna in the world. But it also has the most beautiful too!!
