oh read the threads of the idiot named borkar. You will see he's a jerk. a total mongo.
That world troll is used so often to describe so many other behaviors that aren't in its official definition that I am starting to get confused. Apparently a new definition of troll is when someone feels anything negative towards your post. So if they read your post and get angry for whatever reason you didn't intent, then automatically you are labeled a troll.
Well I wouldn't really call it new. I mean really, either one of the parties you mentioned can be a troll, depending on the intent. For instance...
If a person constantly gets mad at anybody who disagrees with them and calls every single person who disagrees with them a troll, then that in itself is trolling.
On the other hand, if a person constantly disagrees with everybody's posts, no matter if in their heads they really do disagree or not, that can be trolling as well.
There are many types of behaviors that fall under the troll umbrella. Basically though, anybody who acts like an asshole/douchebag for the sole purpose of riling people up/causing conflict/causing arguments/attracting negative attention is a troll.
If it's just a one time thing, then it's just a regular argument. But if a person does it consistently with people, no matter the subject matter, then that a form of trolling.
It's not new though. I don't see it as anything new. If people are arguing constantly just for the sake of wanting to act like an asshole, then it is trolling. It's the intent that differentiates it between a genuine argument of regular people, and the shenanigans of a troll.
