Anyone's mind accidentally lapse into "IMDB mode" yet?
Just had my first moment a little bit ago. Was thinking, "I'll go look this thing up on IMDB" - and then had to catch myself, lol.

I just had a relapse and went to IMDb (don't judge me).
I ended up on getsatisfaction Help Board where people are still very vocal in expressing their disbelief and threats to boycott IMDb and Amazon.
Some people there are posting links to this site, and also to TMDB.
Someone posted a link to this article:
https://www.pastemagazine.com/articles/2017/02/rip-imdb-message-boards.html
which is a nice read about the final days of IMDb, so I'm sharing the link here. Very nostalgic. :(
Nah, I immediately replaced IMDb with MovieChat to cope with the grief.
But you know what was (and is) a bad habit: Watching a movie and first thing after the credits start rolling is going to the IMDb and looking what OTHER PEOPLE thought of this or that movie...
The PROBLEM with that is actually that
1. Most people's opinons are so unbelievably retarded that it's painful and not interesting or engaging to read them.
2. WHY even bother with these "opinions" when 99 % of the time it is painful as stated in '1.'?
What I do LOVE is the trivia section. When a movie was great, I eat up the trivia - and then the goofs.
So, what I hope, MovieChat will become, is a site with good moderation, the ability to block other users and (of course) trolls.
