TONIGHT! Let them know. Deleting accounts is something tangible that they can see. If enough people do it it will be noticed.

Don't go to the site for a few months too. They have click loggers to count traffic. Go use Wiki or TV.com or some other website when you need to reference something(there's only a million other sites to use with the same available information).

Let them get the message.

Nah, it'll leave them with another hit, plus the "message" they'll probably take from it is that "hey, not enough people here, it was definitely a good idea to close the boards".
