Does Anyone Else Find Immigration Debates Ridiculous?

No one is saying you can't come into the U.S to make a better life, just do it legally and until you do, you're not allowed to vote in our elections, plain and simple

On first view there's the absurdity that the ones who want immigration more than others are at the same time the ones who run the most propaganda against immigration.
Logically and proven by historic facts it has always been the case that the rich employers want workers for wages as low as possible, where immigrants from other countries are always willing to work for lower wages and since the political right has been bought by the rich, the political right has more interest in immigration than the left has.
They only make this artificially made up distinction between legal and illegal immigration where they keep shifting the line of who shall be legal and who not.

The reason for this distinction they don't tell you is, they need a scapegoat for all the things that go wrong under right wing politics and "illegal" immigrants have always been the perfect scapegoats.

On second view the western world has a massive overproduction of anything and they don't know where to find customers to buy all that stuff.
That's why they give gigantic loans to poor countries and push their products with dumping prices into the markets of the poor countries.
I.e. the European production of chicken meat that exports all the parts of a chicken that the Europeans don't like to eat into Africa for so low prices that African chicken breeders can't even buy food for their chicken for such a low price has collapsed all chicken breeding in Africa and all the African workers who used to have jobs on chicken farms are now unemployed.
Same thing with onions from the Netherlands that have ruined most of the onion plantations in Africa.
Not a miracle that all the African workers who used to have jobs in industries the Europeans destroyed with dumping price exports are now migrating to Europe in search for the places where the jobs are that now produce the stuff for the African market.
In the end the same workers produce the same amount of stuff as before, only that they now all live and produce in Europe instead of half in Europe and half in Africa.

In summary not only can immigration not be stopped, the ones who claim they want to stop it in fact don't want to.
