So does capitalism and modern society in terms of dissuading people from having kids. Do you object to that with equal veracity? LGBT people can donate sperm, function as surrogates and adopt children. Gay people are not responsible for straight people having less children.

It doesn't inherently "come with it". These are cultural and social issues, and the increased risk in terms of intercourse is mostly associated with gay sex, not lesbian sex.

Capitalism certainly does not, as the 1950s had huge child bearing rates.

As for modern society, yes, because things like atheism and LGBT are celebrated as virtues instead of being called out as the degenerate stuff that they are.

And yes, LGBT people can reproduce when they emulate straight people....but they do not do this very frequently and psychology shows it's healthiest for a child to grow up in a two parent household with one father and one mother.

Post-WW2 baby boomer period. Communist countries had good fertility rates then too. And capitalism has changed substantially since the 1950s. The decay of capitalism might be a better way of framing it. Everything costs more. Housing costs more. Rent costs more. It's much less financially viable to bring a new life into the world.

What makes atheism "degenerate"? What makes LGBT "degenerate"? In what ways should they be called out?

And no, I mean general consumer and media culture. People are more enfranchised to do things they never could do in the 1950s. People want to watch TV, play video games, travel, have more expansive, longer careers. People don't feel rewarded by having kids like they used to. LGBT people aren't to blame for straight couples opting out of having children.

This has nothing to do with religiosity. Poland and Greece, both heavily Christian countries have shocking birth rates. Worse than many other western, less-religious countries. I pointed this out to you and you never addressed it.

With few exceptions, human civilizations around the world eschewed the promotion of homosexuality for millennia. Now why would that be? I mean, you can't blame it on Christians. Maybe they learned through countless generations of observation that no good came of it.

Oh, but we're so much more enlightened today. It's like this magic switch was turned on and all the wisdom of our ancestors was determined to be wrong. You know, I was old enough to be around when the first whispers of "let them live together openly, give them legal rights, maybe even let them get "married", and that'll be the end of it," was actually taken seriously by people. Some of us understood what the end result would be, but no, we were the troglodytes who wanted to deprive people of their rights. And now? The only thing we got wrong was the celerity with which we went from civil unions to men in dresses flashing their junk in your kid's library and school teachers proudly grooming children into sexual degeneracy.

The people that came before us were a lot smarter than we give them credit for. And they were certainly imbued with a healthier dose of common sense.

I did one application for a job and on the application it asked what are your pronouns. I left that part of the application blank but I gave more thought and made think if I got an interview and offer for a job with that company I would probably be walking on egg shells around the people there the whole time. One wrong move and you could be fired instantly. Thankfully it didn't go any further than me sending them a resume.

I work for one of the Most Liberal Universities in St.Louis MO and to this day 4 years later, I still don't bow down to that nonsense and we tell them, it's HE OR SHE, not made up names or identifying as a house plant. You're in College and time to grow up

By the way, some of you suggested that I leave the pronouns blank. That's actually what I did, but in the APPLICATION. But the recruiter ASKED me for my pronouns in an EMAIL. This recruiter is for the same job I applied to without providing my pronouns.

Should I have still NOT tell him my pronouns?
