I got permabanned on Reddit. I am completely black listed. If I create a new account they will take it down within the hour. They have my IP blacklisted, my email, even my browser fingerprint.
The only way I could use Reddit is by creating a new email, using incognito mode on my browser, and using a proxy through french or Canadian servers. If I accidentally were to login without the proxy running I would instantly be identified as persona non grata and my account would be nuked.
All I did was contact the mod who banned me from a subreddit thread and told them that they are a pathetic censorious authoritarian little shit. Reddit considered this harassment and permabanned me.

Many of these rules don't seem to be enforced or are interpreted in such a way that gives you a lot of leeway.
I have seen countless people violate rules #3, #4, #5, #8, and #11. The only reason I was dinged for rule #4 is because I used the N-word. But I've seen many people use all sorts of milder slurs and no one including me have been dinged for those.

Seems to me that unless there is something to back up the troll argument, it's a waste or time and bandwidth.
