Convicted MAGA rioter complains he is banned from ever owning a gun !

The attorney for 51 year old MAGA rioter Daryl Johnson, who predicted there would soon be "hangings on the front lawn" of the United States Capitol building, has asked the court for leniency with Johnson, who may be banned from owning a gun forever.

"Not only is it a blot on his reputation, but it will deprive him of the right to vote and the right to possess firearms," Johnson's attorney argued, referring to his felony conviction. His attorney also argued that his client was just visiting the Capitol with his son Daniel Johnson on January 6, and didn't mean to enter the building and vandalize it. He just 'got caught up with the crowd'. He never intended to cause real damage to the building, but when you're with a violent crowd...you know how you just have to join in.

Prosecutors found Johnson's Facebook postings the next day in which he exclaimed glee for what he had done, and that the situation in America is "going to get very ugly and probably result in some version of a civil war."

Prosecutors are seeking three months jail time for Johnson - minimum.
