It's baffling that Ted Cruz isn't President...

Along with offering up his thoughts and prayers for the 19 children and 2 teachers who were massacared at the elementary school in Texas this week, Senator Cruz also offered up his plan on how this could've been prevented and how it could be prevented in the future. It's a rather simple solution he believes, and makes one wonder why he's not President.

Tweeted Cruz after the bloody massacre the other day:

"Have one door...and have that one door armed police officers at that door. If that had happened...when that psychopath had arrived, the armed police officers could've taken him out..."

So what Cruz is advocating is what is commonly called 'a chokepoint' in the US military.

He's advocating for just one door functional to the building, one entry and one exit through that door, with parents and children crowded up in a large, unprotected gathering at the same predictable time every morning and every afternoon.

With a military strategy like that...what could possibly go wrong ?

Again, it's baffling that this Mensa Mind named Ted Cruz is not President these days.

But I've always felt Cruz is about as much as an actor as he is a politician.

An asshole. Embarrassment to the country. I hate how he always seems to be smiling even when any other human wouldn't.

He's the Joker of Texas.

There's going to be more gun shootings and killings in that state and he'll still "smiling".

I've noticed whenever I've seen him at a debate he always begins by disingenuously thanking his opponent for "being here with us today." Implying that he and the audience are the insiders and his opponent is the outsider. It's subtle but obnoxious.

With only one door available to each school building, what happens if there is a fire and children and teachers need to escape ? They all head for the one door and create another chokepoint while flames and smoke engulf them ?

How do one door buildings work for supermarkets, churches, theaters, malls, etc. After all, shooters are not choosy where they kill.

C'mon you Trumpster human centipede - what can you offer to Cruz's ridiculous suggestion other than your thoughts and prayers ?

Thoughts and prayers are pretty much worthless, but at least it makes sense when coming from an everyday person who can't do a whole lot to effect the issue.

But when a US Senator, someone who has power and influence over this issue offers nothing but thoughts, it's pretty damned infuriating.

I've often wondered why 'thoughts and prayers' are never suggested for a woman's right to choose ? Instead they want the government to step in and legally ban a woman's right to choose. When these Republicans go on their 'prio life' rallies, why don't they just offer up 'thoughts and prayers' at these rallies, rather than ask the government to intercede ?

However, when it comes to a gun massacre, thoughts and prayers are more than enough.

what couldn't possibly go wrong if a fire started...... or someone did still get in and they had the one exit barricaded...

and this is why American conservatives/republicans are the fucking joke of the world. they actually think they are respected. Even the conservatives in my own country thin they are wacko clowns.

and these are lifelong Canadian conservative voting gun owners. after of them ex military.
