The CEO clarified by saying the company stands "for values that are universal: Values of respect, values of decency, values of integrity and values of inclusion.

Her comparison was off. Being "canceled" is not equivalent to being beaten in the streets. She's also a right-wing NUTJOB.. She quotes conspiracy theory crap.

She does have a bit of a point though. There's CLEARLY a double-standard. You agree with the liberal mob, or you get ostracized publicly. But she shouldn't have made that comparison. Anybody who watches Family guy knows full well those things can be funny given the right context and setting. In Gunn's case, his tweets came off as insensitive, but went after the head of everyone who said something stupid when they were younger, we'd all be decapitated.

Again, he was contrite and owned up to his shittiness. No need for anyone to take a pound of flesh.
