I won't say it was a hoax but it is very hard to make out what exactly is going on here. The guys in the video do look like the type, but I'll wait for further details.

It just sounds odd. “Get a noose” is not a normal thing to yell out. Maybe “get a rope”, but its a little doubtful that they kept nooses around, just in case this came up.

Turns out he didn't like the American cap one of the whitey guys was wearing, even tried to knock it off, and that's where this started. Again, it was the black man that instigated this and he acted like he was some kind of victim.

Another hoax perhaps? Remember the hoax about actor Jesse Smollett being assaulted?

Smollett, 36, ignited a firestorm on social media by telling police on 29 January that two apparent supporters of Donald Trump had struck him, put a noose around his neck and poured bleach over him.
