T-rump asked Barr to hold news conference saying he did nothing illegal in phone call to Ukraine

Desperate times call for desperate measures...

T-rump has asked Billy Barr to hold a 'news conference' declaring that T-rump had broken no laws during a phone call in which he pressed his Ukrainian counterpart to investigate a political rival, according to sources familiar with the matter said. Barr declined, after giving it much consideration.

The request came from T-rump, handed over to other White House officials and eventually landed in the Justice Department. Barr's declination has been bothering T-rump over the past few weeks, as he's confided in White House officials he wishes Barr would have done as he asked. The request was made at the end of September at the start of the impeachment inquiry, according to sources.

Since the impeachment inquiry started, the Justice Department has steadily distanced itself from T-rump's White House. Sources say despite the fact that Barr wouldn't follow T-rump's request, the two still remain on 'good terms'.

reply

Sources LOL. I'll be glad when Nikki gets president and cleans that toilet out.

*Translation* Cheeto knows that Barr is literally his last line of defense and doesn't want to piss him off.

reply

Exactly! T-rump knows Barr is his only asset at this point. And Barr has him by the short ones - if he gets rid of Barr, there will be hell to pay.

He could get another "acting" AG like the Kingpin he had before. ;)

Trump is crooked, not crazy. A big fight with Barr might just be one more fight he doesn't have time for...right now. But stay tuned, this man is insanely vindictive.

My suggestion to the Republicans faithful who are STILL unsure about the truth of Trump's claims, this news tidbit is William Barr taking sides. By declining to 'stand by his man' this time, Barr is really saying, 'no Mr President, I think you are lying!'

Do you really think they're 'unsure' about the truth of T-rump's claims? I believe they are in denial, which is different than unsure. They choose to ignore what they don't want to believe.

I am being charitable, thinking that they have not ALL sold their souls.

Swallowed over 14 thousand lies and NOW they care about the truth?

Where's the link that makes you tee-hee like a fairy?

The fake bunch is pushing it. But at least they include SOURCES so the smart people will know its thrash.
