Actually, the outdoor scenes were filmed in Minneapolis MN, and the skating scene was filmed at Loring Pond in Loring Park, in Minneapolis. Yes, the bridge is still there, but it's new and they made the lake a little bit bigger. Have a look on Google earth. Based on how much we love this. Movie, we might just visit there when we do our US driving tour. So
