Yes, Ivan. The dialogues in this movie are ridiculous, I agree. Yeah, but it doesn't add up to anything. The t-shirt salesman from the mall, he was helping Cooper, sees on the news that Cooper got caught. It's comical and pointless. You want it all explained and shown to you. But that doesn't always happen. She just got away. Yeah, so? We don't know how worried Joe was about it. Maybe his son admitted he was the cause. She just fell down. It's not like they cared much about the people living under the Citadel. Maybe Joe just forgot about her. When Jack came back it was pretty obvious that his old crew had been destroyed and he'd assembled a new one. He just came with her. Why would Joe question who this woman was? She's with Jack. Driver, mechanic.... what's the difference? He picked her up and took her on his team. It's not Joe's job to worry about Jack's team. After she came back from the "ride"... well they already realized Dementus had outplayed them and stabbed them in the back. Jack's dead. This woman was with him and she's the only survivor. Joe is a strategist and a leader. He's going to war. And she's just a tool. He didn't say anything back to her. What she wants or doesn't want, Joe's not interested. Maybe after these events, Joe found out more about her and what a talented driver she is and promoted her. It's hard to find a good man in The Wasteland.
