Well I don't want to meet you either. It actually is doing quite well at the theaters it's in. I honestly believe if Warner Bros had given it a decent marketing campaign it could've done well at the box office. I have and can't remember a single thing about it so... Not really. Sounds like a mess. Maybe if I get bored one day I'll check it out. Most of his movies are shit tbh. Missing in Action is probably his best and even that is mid at best. I think Mel was to finance most of it himself so he has more control over it. Rumor is he's been taking these sort of roles to get money to fund Passion of the Christ II I'd give it a 3.5/10. Very dull and amateurishly made. Quaid was the best part of it. I'd have to watch it again. I saw the Extended Cut years ago when it aired on the CW and only recognized it was that version at the end because the post credits scene played before the credits. Underperformed a bit from the $60-65 million projections. Mixed word of mouth probably hurt it a bit. Wouldn't shock me. It's going to very interesting what direction the show takes in Season 3 if Dwight finds away out of having to work for the FBI or if the show is going to take a darker turn as Dwight slowly is forced to turn on everyone. I think if they do the later it could lead to some very interesting storylines, but it would also make the show become a lot darker and lose a lot of the humor in the process. Probably whatever voice acting she can get that will take little effort and time. She has so much money from the Simpsons I doubt she even really needs to work. Yay to Craig. No to Luca Guadagnino Diversity for diversity sake. They've race swapped the two lead roles. They really are going to drive it into the ground in this adaptation. They've already tweaked the play to make it seem allude more to Trump and the GOP. I really just how revisionist the whole story is. There was no reason the author of the book needed to take a story as old as OZ and rewrite it will all this shit. One thing I really didn't like about the play is it really tries to hammer you over the head about the whole thing is a metaphor for racism. I'm going to be really interested how this performs in theaters. The first one performed well at the box office and it also became a hit on Netflix in 2020 during COVID despite being released 2 years ago. Some of Gerard Butler's action movies do decent at the box office and there isn't much competition when this is being released, but it's going to be interesting to see if audience come out to see a sequel to a movie 6 years after it's release and one that arguably didn't need one either. Disagree. 2 was better than the first, but still a bad movie. Don't compare this classic to crap like Terrifer. Considering he's stopped smoking weed, maybe his movies will go back to being good.
