I think Gordon felt Carl's strong personality and felt Carl as the toughest one in the room to convince to sign the deal. Gordon got flustered. Simple as that. Also another one of Dariens poor design layout. That table is way too small for the number of chairs in that room.
On a separate issue I see Dariens design taste is junk. She has the workers nail fake paper crown molding in the ceiling in a 1 milllion dollar apartment? Who does that?? Even in the tacky 80s that makes no sense. Also that murrell of 3 bald dudes from a horror flick is just awful taste.

The Sonic Shenanigans! They both were punished for making a mess cooking so they had to put Sonic costumes on and go outside and wave customers in! Then they messed with the letters on the sign...1/2 priced Anal Burgers. Then they go accross the street in their Sonic costumes and shop...Nicole trips in the store and the head of the costume is flipped backwards..
I loved Nicole!!! I could be having a crappy sad day and Nicole would make me smile.

Yes!!!! The Entity! 1982. I saw it in the big screen in 82 at 16 years old. The stupidest thing Ive done is watch this flick alone, at night, with no one in the house.
Her mother seemed to be a heavy drinker, plus shes got that Lotter trashbag waving around a pistol. BUT she should have dialed 911 after the trashbags left. Her mother should have got prison time.
Very interesting thought. I saw this film 8x over the years and never looked at it that way. Sex under false pretences maybe? Not sure if thats considered rape since Lana consented to the sex. Lana should have done her due diligence . And I believe there is a part of Lana that did wonder about the little things that didnt make sense with Teena. I think Lana chose to ignore the tiny signs because Teena treated Lana like a queen , and Lana was used to men that didnt treat her well.
