To me, it's actually a film that's more about a brotherly rivalry and a single dad raising his coming-of-age tomboy daughter. Football is just thrown into the mix. For those reasons, I think it stands out. It also actually produces some laughs, mainly due to Rick. I really like him as an actor in general anyways.
They did Adam dirty in the movies. They always make him side with the enemy and then when he's actually with the Ducks they don't let us see him play
I feel like such an idiot for just now realizing Pacey from Dawson's Creek is in the main kid in the Mighty Ducks movies
Who was the original kid?
Why?
I thought Molly Ringwald was considered an 80s "It" girl? Well, considering the fact that she was only a young teenager in her John Hughes roles, I'm assuming it was mainly teenage boys that had a crush on her, not grown men. I always thought she was really pretty, but I'm a girl so I must see it differently. It seems she got prettier with time into the late 80s/early 90s. Doesn't help that the wardrobe department didn't normally seem to compliment her features
Yep, nothing wrong with autism but since it's a spectrum we see that his intelligence reaches the capability of typing well written sentences then he's smart and capable of understanding when to stop. At this point he's doing it to annoy people or just not listening. Autism is actually very mild for a lot of people and full grown adults know better.
I thought he said he was autistic in some replies but I could be confusing it with someone else
It already has a remake . "Cars"
You must be mentally ill
You actually agree with this crazy person?
I'm pretty sure he's autistic. It's still annoying but at least an explanation for the behavior
Can't even spell his name right
I'm sure he'd take the disease away in a heartbeat if he had the power to over the "clout" and "fame"
The more I watch it, the more I appreciate it. I didn't care much for the film the first time around either, now I love it (and I didn't grow up in the 80s)
That's true.I meant more so in the realm of acting specifically, I think it would be hard to not cross paths at some point, like at parties or movie events or what not
"The girls" you mean Becky? She is supposed to be manipulative, seductive, cheeky, and advanced for her age.Becky was written and intended to be a sexual character. None of the other girls act like her. You also won't admit to your mistake in feeling bothered by the presence of black people (who are reduced to roles as servants or spectacles to be looked at as rich mulattos who inherited their fortune most likely as children out of wedlock from distant fathers.) If you haven't read the book, then you shouldn't be making these assumptions.
You said "the end" as if he quit acting or his career ended years ago. As for the nip and tuck, that's hardly any major work. My point still stands and you just further proved it. People waste their time criticizing the looks of old people whether they had work done or not.
I'll be honest, I haven't seen Spader in much, but as far as I know he seems pretty versatile. I haven't seen him in any recent roles, so I don't know what he's like now. Nearly all actors have a certain style that never really goes away, but it works. It'll be up to the viewer if they like that style or not. Fans of the show know that he clearly has a method he's sticking with and they enjoy it, so I guess that's what matters. I know I read that he has a type of memory where he literally reads pages of scripts and sees this in his head, so it's essentially like he's reading his lines out loud but not actually reading them. Maybe it comes across on screen sometimes
I respect your title but you lost me in your post. Spader has still been successfully acting in a long running TV show. I wish people would stop griping about his looks. They get mad when actors get work done then complain when they let themselves age naturally
I agree. I love the score
Well,I like Forrest Gump, but I understand why a lot of people don't like it
