Agree I liked Terrifier 2 but the supernatural stuff with the magical sword had me going what in the hell?!? I haven’t seen 3 but seems they’ve completely ditched the idea of giving Art any sort of background. If they ever do I hope they stay far away from the supernatural crap You are right about Terrifier 1 being low budget garbage. If you watch it there’s no way you’d think it would reach the popularity it has I haven’t seen 3 yet but Liked 2 but was hoping they’d give us more info on Art. Seems part 3 gives us nothing else in him which is disappointing. I hope they haven’t given up on crafting his origin story - I mean it can’t be that hard to come up with a story for a killer clown lol Wait, there are 10 Saw movies? I thought they were only up to 6’or so with Chris Rick lol.. I thought they were only first Saw was solid but the sequel was ok and I’d seen enough .. I get why it has a cult following though Poster above said #3 has even less story than #2, is this true? Seems they are not even trying to tell us who Art is in terms of his background and that’s a mistake .. I’m fine with them just given us a few hints but still keeping it mysterious - similar to the Joker character in Batman I guess I enjoyed #2 but just felt if they stayed with it being a gorefest that it may have 1 or 2 more movies in the tank tops. I’ve been wrong before though Horror genre needs a modern icon .. seems Art may be it Damn that’s very unfortunate. I was thinking it can’t be that difficult to sit around and brainstorm and come up with a decent backstory for Art, can it? How can their writing team be that weak and just move forward with just more gore? I’m ok with gore but to solely go with that approach is very weak and disappointing as there is a lot of potential for Art . I’m honestly surprised that Terrifier has hit this stride like it has but the horror genre needed it. It’s just another Saw or Hostel type series though I just realized how few Latino hvwt contenders there have been. What about Latinos environments or genetics keeps them from being larger…? Firstborn isn’t well known But I think it’s one of the better early 80s drama/thrillers Yeah it is hard to believe that a gang of 4 guys could rule what looks to be one of the hardest or toughest high schools in the country .. they do show Stegmen recruiting another member later on but that still would make their gang pretty light in terms of numbers This was the 80s thpugh and who knows - maybe Stegmens drug supplier was very powerful and kept the gang safe and on top …? Cool. I never recognized the movie that Peter was watching at home. It was interesting that they made Peter out to be a bit of a mamas boy in a way - that or he knew how to pull his mother’s strings when he needed to . I just wish we could have seen the home life of the other gang members I wanted to see more of her and Spicolis buddies A sequel would have been great but I would have preferred Fast Times not even be a movie and would have preferred it be a tv series. The same actors and characters but spread over 4-5 seasons - they could have really given us much more backstory on the main characters and side ones. Plus they could have followed them a few years out of high school Yeah this is a really good movie. I’d give it a solid 7.3 rating But I think it’s safe to say the trappings of satanism did play a part in Ricky Kasso killing Gary lauwers. Drugs and mental illness played the biggest part though The satanic panic is fascinating though So this penguin is not the one from Batman’s world?! It’s a new character? Yeah I’ve watched a bit of the Penguin and it looks like another mafia series or movie. I’ve already seen this 100 times over. I’m fine with basing a show around penguin but you need to bring out other villains of the Batman universe because if you don’t then it’s just another tired show about the mafia Goonies 2 has been greenlit several times in the past though. It never ends up getting made. As a huge fan of this movie I’m a bit unsure about a sequel in modern day. Just way too much time has passed and it’s just a much different time . I’ll definitely watch it though 😛 Risky Business needs a sequel The Breakfast Club needs one too but without John Hughes I’m not sure if it can be pulled off. Tbh I don’t even know if Hughes could have made a worthwhile sequel So beetlejuice 2 doesn’t have the same charm as the first? I find the original to be magical in a way as it gets so many things right and is such a unique movie. I was afraid the humor wouldn’t land in the seqyrl because well we are now middle aged people and our humor has shifted quite a bit Beetlejuice 8 out of 10 Have not seen the sequel Agree. It’s so disappointing they waited 30 years. I felt the same way with the first actual sequel to Dumb & Dumber
