Yes it will.
I think you need to grow up for poking fun at people who are excited for this when Batman is essentially one of the most popular fictional characters ever and that we have a genuine great director helming this project.
I don't even think that's the actual budget. Deadline just randomly placed 100 mil on their site without indicating any sort of confirmation from Warner Brothers. I personally think it'll cost at least between 150 to 180 million.
This film is supposed to be Matt Reeves vision and this is apparently the amount of time needed to tell this particular story of his. This runtime shouldnt be a big deal.
It's about having more substance in your film rather than just fast paced popcorn flicks.
Your retarted if you really think he's going to suit up only in the final act for that little screentime.
Ok he's definitely not going to be in suit for only in the last 20 minutes of the film.
He's my favorite artist ever. A legend.
I honestly really dig the "emo" Bruce Wayne look. It looks dark and mysterious. In regards to Pattinson, I have to disagree here. He's a good actor and great choice for Batman. Sure he starred in Twilight which is definitely one of the worst franchises of all time but it wasn't his fault those films were bad. It's all about the script. He was great in films like The Lighthouse, Good Time, and Tenet, which shows he can play a wide variety of different types of roles very well.
The catwoman romance really hasn't been established in live action since Batman Returns. There was no romance between the two in TDKR besides the ending. So I'm definitely looking forward to see a new modern take on it in this film. The chemistry between the two looks pretty similar to Arkham games which I love and it shouldnt be an element that weighs down the quality of the film.
Again I have to disagree on the riddler. Paul Dano is a great actor and the look of him looks dirty and realistic which I like a lot. And sure the whole terrorism type plot this movie seems to be going for is similar to Nolan films but that's what a majority of Batman villians are like and the Riddler looks to be established as more of a serial killer.
I'm not too crazy about the look of the batmobile either so I'll give you that.
In regards to the dark look and the atmosphere, thats what Batman is supposed to be like. You don't need to change that up. Sure the Burton films had that look but they lacked the substance that was in the Nolan trilogy. The Nolan trilogy also lacked the dark and Gothic atmosphere featured in Burtons films. It was more sleek and modern looking for the most part. Now this film seems to be merging both elements of the style and substance together which is great. This looks a lot like the Arkham games which imo is the best representation of Batman from the comics. So yeah this something we really haven't seen before in live action.
Sure you might have your concerns but I'm honestly really curious about all the reasons why you think this looks disappointing as opposed to being excited about it. I personally see no flaws from anything surrounding this film. That doesn't mean it's gonna be great right off the bat. We'll have to wait and see the film first of course, but everything just looks spot on so I'm curious to know why your not very optimistic about this one?
I overall really enjoyed it but the killers motivation is what threw me off. So like the real reason why they're starting yet another massacre is because of the toxic Stab franchise fandom? It was disappointing that it had nothing to do with the past regarding Sam being Billy's daughter nor it had any relation to Sydney.
And yet im assuming people are complaining that oh he just looks like a basic garbage man. I don't understand why people want this character who represents a serial killer to have some well put together flashy outfit. The look on the riddler is perfect.
The look of it is realistic. Listen many people including you can hate on this film all you want but this genuinely looks better than a majority of comic book films out there.
That doesn't make any sense. He looks like a genuine terrifying serial killer.
That looks pretty menancing to me. Your telling me that if a guy dressed like that were to show up at your front door, you wouldn't be terrified at all? I don't know but I would freak the hell out.
