If my father banged someone 50 years ago and she still looks in her thirties it wouldn't even register to me. That was a lifetime ago. Also, Adaline met William when he was in medical school. When she got to know Ellis, he talked about his father being an astronomer on faculty at Stanford. Plus with a last name like Jones, I doubt she'd have her guard or suspicion up. She met him at a high society NYE party, so she was in her element meeting an Ellis type without feeling a need to google him. Plus she was so closed off to love that she didn't even think in terms of modern dating with google searches. She was a class act. I wouldn't google a person I just met, I'd just go with the flow, because the truth always comes out and though he seemed aggressive in wooing her, he also seemed very kind and intelligent, and megarich. She just finally opened herself up to a dalliance with Ellis knowing she was moving away, wham bam thank you man. I'm just wondering if Adaline could get pregnant. Nothing screamed menopausal about her, so maybe she didn't want to get pregnant again after having an 80+ y/o child. Wasn't Ellen killed by a shark causing her mother to kidnap Laura and hold her hostage in the cellar? Yep, and then James and Cassandra. Too many kids in the little house. They could have very easily had JohnJr gay and Charles catching him in an embrace with his male partner at the cotillion. Imagine if LHOP had the first gay character on tv embracing his lover. A win for kindness and compassion. Surprised Landon didn't do that. I'm trying to figure this out myself, too!! lol. Garland the Senior had two sons: brothers Malcolm (through Corinne1) and Christopher (through Alicia). Making them half brothers. Malcolm then had Corinne2 after raping Alicia his brother's mother. So Christopher is Corinne2's father's half brother making him her half uncle. Plus because they share Alicia as mother, they are also half-siblings. Christopher's parents are: Garland and Alicia Corinne2's parents are: Malcolm and Alicia Both have the same mother but different fathers, making them half-siblings through Alicia. Christopher is Malcolm's half-brother so he is also Corinne2's half-uncle. So Corinne2 knew she was sleeping with her father's (half-)brother, and Christopher knew he was sleeping with his (half)brother's daughter. Kinda icky just with that. Then they later found out that they share the same mother. And that didn't bother them either. Double ick. The two young boys in the last scene with the abductor were Tommy and Alec. Alec had his dispenser in his back pocket so we would know it's him. I'm not quite getting the green pocket knives, unless the killer wanted all his crimes to be easily traceable back to him when he inevitably gets caught. Like the "Wet Bandits" in Home Alone. That was their calling card and the cops had all the motive and calling cards to make a good case. Lol. Did he also moonlight as a funeral director too? "I'm not a medic, I'm a funeral director!" I just finished watching this and came on here to ask the same thing! Why start shooting at Pauly and hold a gun to the son's head???? He's a professional hitman, so who was paying him to off Pauly at the end?!?! He already blew up a federal post office so you'd think he'd want to lie low for a bit and not just randomly kill Pauly for no reason. And for a hitman, he REALLY sucked. You have a target as big as a whale and who can't run to save his life and you can't get even ONE shot at him? It was funny seeing Pauly waddling as fast as he could to avoid the bullets, though. LOL. This movie wasn't going to succeed in giving him a new career as an action star, that's for sure. And for someone as hot as Jean Smart to be so in love with him? Something stinks in suburbia. Also, it was obvious almost immediately that it was the son who got Melanie pregnant but even that story arc didn't make much sense. When in court the medical expert said the DNA of the fetus was "consistent" with the father Jack who had a vasectomy, that's just not how DNA works. The lab would have come back saying something like the DNA markers are consistent with the father of the fetus being RELATED to Jack, a first degree relative. So hmm, who could that be? I didn't understand the whole witness protection thing, and why Jean Smart would go on the stand and say they lost a lot of WP papers and that Jack and Melanie just HAPPENED to be living next door to a couple in WP whose paperwork of their address just HAPPENED to be wrong in their files so it was probably a hitman that killed Melanie. I mean, how lucky can you get? Deus Ex-Machina, just make something up with such a contrivance to move the plot along. Harriet was ferocious in bed. And Pa's whole "cash on the barrel" talk when he was ALWAYS asking for credit really meant that it was "Caroline on the barrel" in the back stockroom whenever yet another crop of Pa's failed and they needed credit. Nels was well taken care of by the ladies of Walnut Grove. Me too!!! I'm cracking up at these people who took it seriously and are writing scathing reviews. Umm, the tombstone kept changing! To the haters, that is a "plot hole"... bless their hearts. I watched it a second time, and it's funnier the second time around. You start paying attention to the little things. The art books in the attic that start with "You Too Can Be an Artist" then below it a book "You Also Can Be an Artist", then below that "Anyone Can Be an Artist". Little things like that you'll pick up on. There is no "I" in heaven. Could mean two things. Was that a roman numeral so it says "There is no one in heaven"? I thought it was cleverly written, brilliantly acted by Bell. Loved it. LOL. Didn't you see how she covered the filled glass with her cellphone so it wouldn't spill? We've all done that. But that to me was the fun part. I didn't know what I was about to watch, but after several minutes I started tuning in on the dark humor (which I love). And Kristin Bell was playing her part so earnestly that if you didn't notice all the absurd things she did or saw you'd think it was serious. I loved it. IKR?!?! That alone is quite hilarious, if it wasn't so sad. I loved this series. Someone on IMdB gave it 1 star and said they had to turn it off after they revealed how the daughter died. I mean, it's your daughter's "Take your child to work day" and the dad who is a forensic psychiatrist for the FBI specialising in serial killers takes you to the prison and sits you in the interview room with Massacre Mike should have given you the clue that this is a spoof/parody. I guess they went back to watching reruns of 19 Kids and Counting because they thought the series was liberal or something.... lol. These people have no sense of humor. For the BWC? But I loved her with Percival so I'm glad her first marriage didn't last very long... hehe His upper lip needed to be circumcised. And she and handyman Chris had a beautiful child together. Charles and some prost at a saloon in Mankato produced LB. Also, Mary wasn't Charles's either. Frisky young Caroline found herself in a family way and when she told her hot highschool sweetheart she was preggers he bolted. So Caroline had to look around town to find the dumbest, most gullible sap to cover for her. Voila Charles! And he had no idea how babies were made so when she started showing around two months after their wedding he really thought Mary was his. Caroline made beautiful babies with other men. With Charles she produced Laura and Carrie.... enough said! lol Oh, definitely Caroline over Olivia. For sure. I was much more LHOP than Waltons, but I would have preferred John Walton. Charles was just too into his own preachiness when he was kind of a loser. John Walton provided for a much larger family and was reasonable and mature. If he couldn't afford to take in more kids, he wouldn't have unlike Charles. Walton was wise and understanding to others. Ingalls was a petulant child who couldn't shut his judgmental mouth and provide for his family. Saying that, I would have much preferred being on the prairie than in Appalachia. Or I would have taken up with Cora Beth as a teen and been her drinking partner and been in a drunken stupor on moonshine all day to deal with all the inbreeding around me. The "TARA". Turn and run away. Bratty Laura did something wrong and would just TARA. Laura!!! Stop!!! Come back!!! Your pigtails need fixing.
