I was very much surprised like you, to find only one thread too? One would have thought many more users would be interested in this grand filmmaker, right? I often talk about him in my channel, since his influence extends so far. Hopefully more people eventually will get to know him and his films as time passes. You're not the only one to have found the film confusing, many people I came across also said the same thing. This has led me to make a mini-series on my channel, in an attempt to clarify and interpret the film, so as to make it more accessible to other spectators.
