Would not even require a traumatic injury... Just when I thought I couldn't find the Cartel more terrifying... Beginning scene with Heather Graham Table of drops Take a deep breath... The ending was supposed to be justice... Did trustees actually get loaded guns in those times? Carnales... This show is funny! View all posts >

I think Cooper has an appeal in that he looks real good cleaned up...but busted up he's convincing too. I think DiCaprio and Bale are too pretty, although Bale did look tore tf up in The Machinist. I want to see him in all his roles and just got finished with Penitentiary (1979). Porky's original probably my fave..."hit that pig whistle!" I lol'd at the dialogue with William Forsythe about semen swapping! I'm less than hallway in.. don't know if I can make it. Like WHO TF talks like this in real life? Mermaids are white! Apples and Oranges but they're both great movies imo. Trainspotting is much more social and light hearted and positive in many parts. You grow to love a lot of the characters. Requiem was much more creepy and traumatizing with the totally depressing depiction of parallel downward spirals. Very spooky...but then again there's not a <spoiler> dead baby scene with junkie mom shooting up directly after scene </spoiler> lol Watch again, right before his arm is shown that 2nd time... "Wayans says we're 600 miles closer to Florida", and Leto complains "we're also 600 miles further away from New York". Right after they go to the hospital. So they were in some Southern state. Also the guards..."you New York dope fiends" So many jump cuts in this movie make details easy to miss. But then again, threatening to kill a little girls "whole damn family" might have set that all into motion anyway. It's unlike Memento where it's pretty gripping throughout. One thing I liked was that the reverse chronological thing is stated in the synopsis so you can be surprised with the answer to "what led to these events?" first viewing. Memento requires a second viewing usually, but then there's no surprise. Creative! Actually when I read the title was thinking you were gonna say being a cop has him so used to seeing messed up stuff that the trauma aspect wouldn't be there. View all replies >
