To me all Algren did was try to tell the samurai “You know you’re fucked, right?” and then he helped them die the way they wanted to. He didn’t become the BEST samurai by any means.
I saw they did manage to get ONE THING.right that most other movies and shows don’t. Near the end of the series when they needed to retake the command center the guys that had secured the replica rehearsed how to go about assaulting the real one. Most military shows and movies don’t show that stuff.
I loved Wolf’s last action scene and I liked how Captain Chandler turned the Nathan James into a very expensive IED.

I think that performance should have been grounds for justifiable homicide, or at least a life altering beating.

Agreed. It felt really out of place when guy called someone an ass hole.
