If a law enforcement officer had been made aware of it, I’m sure she would have. One typically has to be caught doing something illegal in order to be arrested for it.

Anderson Silva incorporated some Aikido into his fighting repertoire after training with Steven Seagal.

Georges St-Pierre incorporated some Taekwondo into his fighting repertoire after training with Joe Rogan.
They were Tarzan’s parents, but the baby wasn’t Tarzan. Tarzan was born in the treehouse in Africa approximately 10 months after the shipwreck.
A bay can also be a feature of a lake.
His children almost always announced who they were every time they encountered him. I don’t remember that his wife ever did that.
I just watched it tonight, and I didn’t hear anyone say they had a search warrant.
They also didn’t have probable cause to search anything or anywhere. This was a glaring overreach of authority. I feel like the sheriff was unduly impressed by Jake’s wealth and societal standing, and let himself be persuaded to overextend his authority.
Or, he had some other kind of “health event” and they need to keep him out of sight for as long as possible.
Thank God we’ve eliminated irrational belief and superstition from our advanced, modern culture.
“Practical CGI”
Don’t forget his scene from ‘Idiocracy’.
Probably because it wasn’t obvious he was on the take. From all outward appearances, he was just doing what defense lawyers are supposed to do; lie, twist facts, obfuscate, create reasonable doubt, and explore every possible angle in order to clear his client. The fact that the judge went along with the ridiculousness was the obvious transgression of justice.
Agreed - this was really an enjoyable film. It took me by surprise—as one of a handful of movies I initially dismissed due to the title.
Does the recipient actually own the Oscar statue? I remember hearing that there were a lot of rules surrounding what could and could not be done with one.
That aside, I imagine the MPA could simply delete the award administratively and put someone else’s name in the records. It would be an odd way to win though.
“Best Actor for 2021 who is not Will Smith”
Matthau was a professional, and that’s what professional actors do.
Remember, Sir Arthur John Gielgud was in ‘Caligula’.
It wasn’t shown on screen, but the action leading up to the fatal shot hinted that the shotgun was placed in his mouth. Since his death was ruled a suicide, it’s implied that the shotgun was in his mouth, since that’s the way most long gun suicides are carried out. In that situation, there would be no way to tell if any trauma had occurred before the blast, because typically the entire skull, (save the face) is blown open and scattered over a wide area.
In this case they’re also wrong. There are at least two gay characters in the film.
The linked article appears to be behind a paywall. As far as I am aware, most CCTV is used in review of an incident, and few of those cameras are monitored, or set up and managed so that they could be used for real-time tracking of an individual.
During the closing scenes where Joey is being visually tracked, the added radio chatter about how the suspect has been identified as wanted ex-military personnel was extremely over-the-top cinematic fantasy. Typically, individuals who are wanted for prior crimes are discovered after being apprehended for some other offense, and properly identified.
There was one scene in which she appeared to have a goiter.
