We had seatbelts back in the 70's, we just never used them. Also, telling Ray that he was taking Superboy to NYC at 6 a.m. wasn't the smartest move either. My favorite: "Every time I open the door, somebody walks in". I love the movie too, it never gets old especially the story about the ducks, I could hear that story anytime! I haven't read the book yet but I will one of these days. Not to defend Jack but perhaps he lives in an area where there are no sewer lines nearby. In my city, there are acreages inside city limits where there are no sewer or water lines available. Yep. I agree, they should have brought Col. Flagg back at least once per season. Now that you mention it, I have to agree. Black & White for me. I've never seen the colorized version and don't care to. I agree. Oh, I don't want no more of army life Gee Ma, I wanna go home! It's pretty obvious that you hate animals since you cannot understand the bond a person has with their pet! People like you make me cringe. No movie should be colorized, and certainly not this movie. I've never seen the 1997 version and never will. That being said, I would much rather watch this version any day. Yes that scene was filmed in Paris near the Pont Royal Bridge. You're thinking of Cool Hand Luke who sent his fellow inmates a magazine with his picture in it when he escaped a second time. It was also in a two part episode of MacGyver titled "Legend of the Holy Rose" (1989).
