Cragen always used to answer his phone with just an irritated “what?” when he was on the original L&O, he didn’t do it as often on SVU though. Your TV didn’t cut off, the episode ended on an ambiguous note, we didn’t see what the court’s decision was. A great episode but I didn’t like how they left it unresolved and never revealed what the decision was in any future episode, even though McCoy prosecuting the colonel was referenced once in an episode where McCoy was the DA. LOL I couldn’t imagine Lennie hugging Van Buren goodbye, that wouldn’t be in his character. Branch fired Serena because they didn’t see eye to eye on issues, he felt that Serena was overly sympathetic to defendants and too soft. Serena’s exit is infamous for her line “is this because I’m a lesbian?” because that came way out of left field and nothing had been said about her sexuality before. Serena was one of the weaker ADA’s overall IMO. I can’t stand Rollins, she’s an unprofessional screw up who has become the number 2 main character behind Benson. She needs to go, her behavior in Service last season showed that she shouting be an SVU detective and she gets away with a lot of crap because she’s suddenly Benson’s BFF since season 19.
