At the end, she realizes that Ashley truly loves Melanie and Scarlett says “why didn’t you tell me before?”
Damn, he’s been telling her the whole movie, and we’ve been enduring hearing him say that for hours … despite him stringing her along with the occasional kiss. Ashley is so wishy-washy, but DID tell her. She’s so stupid.
I thought Jafar was a great update. But no way this was worse than the casting of live action Beauty and the Beast. No actors was miscast in Aladdin, especially considering Hermoine who has no singing ability in Beauty and the Beast.
Good to know. But it did throw me off the first time watching this film!
This movie is more than 20+ years old. Prior to this, Latinos were rarely in films at all. We had to start somewhere.
Ty manifested the insecurities of many kids today. That makes him relatable.. and LIKEABLE to a lot of people. Not universally of course (you obviously don’t like him), but it makes him very endearing.
Oh yea and I lost too. But I can’t believe how much a random Hallmark movie checks off so many stereotypical holiday checkmarks.
Yea it’s creepy because all of these events were either destined to happen, or some mystical force just illustrated them on the cave walls. But I’m leaning towards the former.
Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (Netflix)
His Dark Materials (HBO Max)
House of the Dragon (HBO Max)
Wheel of Time (Amazon Prime)
Wicked (2024 Film adaptation)
It didn’t make me cry as a kid and it doesn’t make me cry now. But it wasn’t a bad scene. In fact, it was a rather touching scene and it was well done (they use every minor chord in the book lol). But it wasn’t crying territory for me.
Oh awesome! That’s great news! And I hate to break it to you; they were gay already.
It should get a theatrical release IMO. A film usually gains universal recognition once it gets a theatrical release. Netflix’s most popular streaming films are always the ones that had a theatrical release; even if they were box office flops. Narnia will be elevated by getting a wide theatrical release, and will draw more people to Netflix as well.
Not unless she eats spinach and broccoli
This isn’t necessarily true. The original Star Wars trilogy came out close to 50 years ago and the original Wizard of Oz , close to 100 years ago. Because of this, millions of people have not seen the original source material, and Wicked may be their introduction into the Land of Oz. These people may not know the conclusion to the story arc. I, for one, started Star Wars at Ep. 1 myself.
Well it’s not anything significant, but…
<spoiler> The coconut pirates end up being good guys all along, it’s revealed. </spoiler>
Just saw it. It’s not as good as the first film but it’s a good watch. There’s an interesting twist from the first film to the second film w some of the characters. The ending was good too.
I’d give it a 7/10.
Fresh fish! lol
I thought the actors did well, but you’re right. DiCaprio was way too twinky for the role and not ruggedly handsome enough. I remember seeing a test reel of Kate Winslet with another actor as Jack Dawson. He didn’t act as well, but he had a way better look to him.
I’d like to think she ended up working as a seamstress in a small apartment in downtown New York or something. She will have ended up old and bitter with damaged fingers and dirty matty hair, eating only porridge and water for breakfast. Stupid ho.
Um hello? So that Sheba doesn’t get pregnant!
Amen to that. Definitely some of the most sensitive people online. What’s that? ‘F*** your feelings’ they say? Ooh unless it’s their feelings. THEN it matters.
