You sure you watched the entirety of the first season?
I missed the back end of the first season (after the first break) and then when season 2 came around there were some story lines that had developed that I completely missed.
This is a message board you dumb fuck. What else reason exists then to post your opinion of the show and partake in a debate with someone who may see things differently. What's worse than people bitching about game of thrones in the game of thrones forum is you bitching about something completely off topic.
The last episode? The cinematography in almost every episode this season has seemed that way. It's like they replaced subtlety with OVER THE TOP IN YOUR FACE or something.
The petition is meant as sarcastic frustration more than anybody actually expecting it to be redone.
Agreed 100%. My favorite part of the series was the complexity of the characters and the non-linear storyline and how with each episode there was this constant feeling of a slow build up to something epic and then when that epic thing happened it delivered in the mot unpredictable of ways.
This season 8 had no depth, no complexity, and just terrible/boring/predictable/uninspired writing in general.
This site desperately needs SEO/Search Engine Optimization. Anytime someone types in keywords like "[movie] discussion" this sites movie pages should be ranked at the top of google.
The biggest problem with the site right now is that there are too many dead movie forums with no on going discussion right now. There isnt enough people participating in discussion.

Agreed. My favorite aspects of the show: character development, dialogue, politics, backstabbing, outwitting, etc. have been non existent. In this most recent episode I forwarded ahead through the cheesie fight/war sequences and there was maybe 15 mins of non filler.
I was hoping there would be some epic twists/turns/clever ways in which some of these characters and their allies obtained power/made their final bid for the iron throne. Instead everything has been dumbed down to the level of a 13 yr old who just wants to watch shit blow up.
Like everything else this season: really shitty writing.
