It can be funny when you have both in your stable at once: can only remember a couple brain-farts driving a stick & forgetting to downshift approaching a stop. Multiple times driving auto, my left foot would 'whomp' into the floor in search of the clutch pedal.
Careful, it can be mind-numbing...
I don’t know if I’d call much on your list really stupid, just typical, silly mistakes we all make.
‘How was your weekend?’
Here’s a fun little game you can play; Someone asks how you’re doing or how your weekend went; start your response with "Wellll(really draw this word out, freight it with dire portents of stultifyingly long-winded dissertations. Even the toughest will begin to cringe by the one-second mark)lll, OK. How ‘bout you?” This can derail some folks a bit. The ‘facial expression change rate’ can be pretty entertaining. Then, there’s “How you doin’?”:

I’ve been aware of how ‘pervious’ my body is since my early teens; that hasn’t stopped me from injuring myself more than a few times. Only bathroom incident involved foolishly leaving a tube of metal polish in unfortunate proximity to dental hygiene products. “Dafuq? Ptui! Gahhhh!”

I try to observe the 'point of diminishing returns' with this, but it's usually a stone or 2 behind reality.
Nope. Allegedly, I was about 4, someone fell asleep in their chair with a half-depleted can of beer at hand, someone else left the room for 10 seconds, coyote pup was swift and silent. Hic...
First time I remember, I was 16. The whole world took on about a 20-degree list to starboard. That was uproariously entertaining at the time.
40+ years later and the novelty has pretty much worn off. A beer or 2 now & then or a glass of whiskey occasionally is fine.
Oh, yeah? You should see my '12-pack' abs (lifts shirt, looks, scowls) nevermind...

Haven't seen this one or 'The Last Action Hero' yet. I don't intend to look for them, but won't turn aside if I encounter either. Almost guessed Eraser, but thought the holiday spirit hasn't fled yet. Good Game.

Not perfect, but I'd think "Florence" would be close enough to "Orange" for song or poem: citrus groves in Tuscany? Old-growth Orange-tree groves devastated by hurricane Florence?
The plural 'Florences' would be better, but awkward. The matriarch of the Partridge family & the mother of modern nursing? Both Florences endorse eating oranges.
