I have not thought of When In Rome for over 20 years, LOL. Even when watching Napolean it didn't click.
I can hear it now "If you need a friend........."
If you like them you might like Alphaville's album Forever Young or Then Jerico's The Big Area and maybe the First album.
They have a similar sound to When In Rome. Same time period, lesser known bands out of England I believe. Didn't really make it but had a few songs of note, especially Alphaville's Forever Young, I like the more up tempo version.
If you haven't ever listened to them, give those album's a shot.
Have a good day!
I found out about my sighting. It was Starlink. They are positioning for global internet access among other things. What I described was spot on. Although they do travel in different patterns. They are called "night trains". It's made the news around the globe by now.
It's quit a sight, especially if you see it at new launch, they are closer together and brighter for the eye to see.
I saw your link and Starlink satellites are a different breed of satellite. They are clustered or a train of many.
Have a fantastic day
Not even and I am correct in that they were ALL satellites. It's called Starlink.
Enjoy your day
Yeah, they come after twilight or before dawn. I put my hands up around my face to inhibit light sources.
It's cool to see.
There is a site I found that has the schedule to see all satellites in the sky. It's pretty much spot on.
Have a great day
Um......... You are wrong. What I described was ABSOLUTELY correct and not even close to a meteor shower.
It is Starlink. Look it up.
I've done more research and found out it is pretty easy to spot satellites. Not HARD at all.
There is actually many sites that list the time of night, early morning to view such objects.
Enjoy your day
There are many Star Trek fans that disliked those movies. I started to watch the first one and just got disinterested. Have yet to see another new Star Trek movie. I am not a Star Trek fan.
There are many Star Wars fans that disliked TFA. I for one dislike TFA, it was not original at all. Same as I've seen before. Some of my family said it was great, they are easily amused, I said it's the same story new character. They (disney) had no idea or a plan on what to do with the franchise. They just wanted money.
Super 8 I liked. MI3 I liked as well.

Should have typed .497%
MJ had a 47% lifetime field goal percentage.

Oasis was not Rock. Unless I am mistaken, Oasis was "Wonderwall" and that sort. That ain't rock. I liked Oasis, I never got a rock feel. Was Morrissey Rock, hell NO. He was Morrissey. Too many labels just to label.
Van Halen was Rock. Def Leppard Rock.
Just for clarity, on England terms, The Cure is my favorite band and I wouldn't consider them rock (in the classic sense) or pop (except Friday I'm in Love). They just had there own thing. Listen to "The Kiss" from 1987, so awesome, is it rock or is it just The Cure sound? Seriously, the Cure was just them playing their messed up stuff. Not rock or pop.

kspkap mentions National Velvet, and he's right it's a great movie for a young girl. Maybe not six, you decide, but it is about a young girl trying to become her dream. It's real good, especially if your daughter likes horses.
Unless the library has changed from a few months ago, I thought Disney+ to be over-priced. Compared to Netflix and the others they had a weak lineup. Same old stuff you have already seen recently and none of the old 1960 and 70's movie of the week stuff, the good stuff from our youth. They also didn't have all the classic cartoons. What's up with that.
If you go Youtube there is a remastered 1939 "Gulliver's Travels" that looks great. If she likes the fantasy stories she may like that. Just type in Gulliver's Travels and it should be the first option to pop up.
Or
Lady and the Tramp
Charlotte's Web
Rikki Tikki Tavi
The Secret of Nimh
Savannah Smiles, now this one might not be for 6 year olds, depends how she understands things, but it's damn good.
The Apple Dumpling Gang
The Dark Crystal
The Muppets, movies or tv series
Annie, I prefer the 1982
Heck she might even relate to Laura on "Little House on the Prairie" lots of hours there.
The Sound of Music
The Witch Mountain movies
Babe pig movies
Nim's Island
A Dolphin's Tale
Save Willy
Fly Away Home
My Girl
Hoot
Enchanted, there is a scary dragon witch scene towards the end, not sure how she takes to that.
The Parent Trap , the newer version is probably better. My nieces watched it once with me and then like 20 times in the next few weeks their parents told me. They were hooked and just the same age as your daughter, maybe a few years older.
I did find this on Youtube as well. It's and old Wonderful World of Disney movie. 1969 Secrets of the Pirates Inn.
E.T.
Milo and Otis
you mentioned in another post she likes dancing and that sort, she might like "The Greatest Showman" Lots of songs in that one and their's two young girls as the Hugh's daughters.
And don't forget all the Herbie movies.
Fox and the Hound
I Carly and Hanna Montana would probably take up many hours as well. My nieces glued to tv for those back in the day.
The Rescuers and Rescuers Down Under
also for you, if you have yet to see
Die Hard, I'm sure you've seen it, if not, what are you waiting for?
Midnight Run, this is one of my favorite movies EVER, if you have not seen it, do not get spoiled by a spoiler review, just watch it.
The Right Stuff, about the race to the moon.
do so

It Happened One Night (1934)
Definitely recommend. I loved it the first time I saw it years back, thought it was ok a few years back, and then today said dang that's a fine film. It did, for road trip rom-coms what "48 Hours" would do for buddy "cop" movies. It set the bar for that genre to beat. It swept the Academy Awards in the top 5 categories.
My rating 8/10. maybe maybe 9/10 if I was feeling it. But not a 10/10. Although I'm pretty tough on rating movies.

Many of these supposed OT "only" fanboys celebrated when Lucas sold Star Wars to Di$ney & also embraced a poorly conceived and poorly constructed soft reboot, TFA that undermined the OT and the PT, proven by the unavoidable trainwreck sequels that followed.
SO TRUE!
That Christmas my family asked me why I disliked the movie. I said "It's a scene on scene Star Wars, there's not a new story, except it's a girl, they are gonna milk this for money, nothing more, they have no idea what they are going to do. They paid billions of dollars to try and make many billions more dollars. That's Disney."
Much truth in your post. Thumbs up!
Do Not put a bird bath CLOSER to the nest. DO NOT even put a water dish out. The bird selected the spot. DO NOT alter her choice. A bird bath brings predators CLOSER to her nest, so does a drinking dish.. They aren't pussies like humans, they know how to survive. They don't come in from the rain. DO NOT baby them and think you are helping them. They'll get by without your "help". Just sit back and enjoy them being there. THINK LIKE A BIRD not as a human when making decisions on helping a bird out.

NetFlix has to be on bad finances to wait so long to green light their highest rated show. They should have made season 2 and 3 and even 4 all at the same time when the iron was hot. Now we have 11 year old kids that will be 20 something by the time season 5 comes around. The Duffers didn't want this to be a long running show but they sure as shit didn't want to be filming college kids as their final season.
Bad move NetFlix.

Denzel was amazing in this movie, he became my favorite actor in this seen. Seen LOL, seen should be scene. Had to correct but leave my mistake.
I will also say Denzel is my favorite of the actors after 1990 let's say. If Denzel is in a movie I'm in.
Good Day.
I have no idea in which order to watch his movies.
However I know this and maybe it will help you out, if you have access to TCM, they have many films to choose from on demand.
1948 Drunken Angel
1949 Stray Dog
1959 The Hidden Fortress
1962 Sanjuro
1965 Red Beard
1963 High and Low
1956 Seven Samurai
1950 Rashomon
1961 Yojimbo
1957 Throne of Blood
They did a marathon just a few days ago with all of those movies and they are still available through the on demand service.
Enjoy your day.
Fuckin A RIGHT!
"I'm just drawn that way."
LOL I was hoping there was a Jessica Rabbit response in here.
Best breasts can be low on the torso. They hung nicely. A tad too low, not a problem with me.
Bette Davis' hung low and were brilliant.
Enjoy your night.
