The Death Star's shield was up for most of the battle, so that would make it impossible for TIE fighters to take off from the Death Star. Once the shield was down, he could have taken off, but he never got the order to do so, so he waited. Once the abandon ship alarm went off, then he rushed to his ship and tried to get out in time.
Everybody has problems, no matter how much money they have. Though the problems might be very different.
In the book both Cherry and Randy talk about how Bob's parents were always off playing the role of high society couple and never really paid attention to him. Unless he was in trouble, which then they would just buy a way out of it, thus making him even worse. Then to top it off he drank way too much. Then the other soc's felt like they had to follow him because he was kind of the Alpha, and they didn't want to be outcasted from that circle.
Well we can cross another one off the list as James Caan has stopped at his final toll booth.
The one that wants to get its friend Danny Devito an easy paycheck since Devito was one of the people that fought to get Arnold in Twins, which was Arnolds first attempt at action/comedy and earned him over $40 millon.
It depends on when you catch her. There're times when she looks really good. And there're times when she looks like Caitlyn Jenner.
Of course there was her first State of State speech, where the political pundits gave it an A, but everyone else only noticed her D's.

Yes I think most people thought Leia and Obi-Wan had never met each other prior to ANH before seeing this show. However, if you carefully look at her message, there's no real indication either way if they actually know each other.
But you could make a case that there is a clue that she had previously met him. In the message she first calls him "General Kenobi". Of course, her famous line at the end is "Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope." But when Luke arrives at her cell, he says he's there with Ben Kenobi, and Leia immediately knows who that is and eager to go with them. As we all know in the Star Wars Galaxy when someone needs to hide, they change their first name, but not their last. So Leia would not have known that Obi-Wan and Ben were the same person, unless she had previously met him.
As I'm writing this it occurred to me that it would make sense for Leia to name her first born son after the man who twice saved her life and sacrificed himself so that the Death Star could be destroyed.
She had to hurry out of there so she could make her speeches in China about their environmental policies.
It's always been rumored that Bill Murray was "considered" for the role, though he says he was never offered it, nor did he ever have any serious conversations with the producers or director about it. I think I could see him playing the role, but nowhere near as well as Hanks. Maybe that's just because of how good he was in What About Bob?.
Baldwin couldn't pull off the warmth, kindness, and innocence of Forrest.
Willis would have been and absolute disaster.
No
The differences being that Manson has a long list of women claiming that he abused them over many years. Depp did not have that. Most of women who had been with Depp claimed he never did anything to hurt them. Even the ones who hated him, like Barkin, had to admit he never hit them.
And Depp for the most part was a lovable figure. No matter what was going on, you couldn't help but liking Johnny. Marilyn Manson would never garner that kind of sympathy.
I don't think it was hours later. Maybe half an hour, possibly less. Maybe the police flipped on their sirens at some points to help get thru the traffic. Or were able to do things that normal drivers wouldn't do, like using the shoulders.
Actually, that's pretty spot on with what was happening. Tony felt like he needed to reassert himself as the Alpha of the group. Along with the reasons listed above as he was walking into Sateriale's he saw Bobby playing basketball and looked to be in the best shape he had ever been in, and he looked at Paulie's arms and knew that even at his age Paulie could still handle himself in a fight.
He needed to take down someone tough but couldn't be a made guy. And he knew Perry had a weakness (I don't remember exactly, but wasn't it his elbow?)
"If you leave one wolf alive then the sheep are never safe."
Game of Thrones
If the Cowboys wanted to hit the Earps, then they needed to hit them all at once, or at least on the same night. They did kind of try to do that by hitting Morgan, Virgil, and shooting at the women, but they left Wyatt alone which was probably the one person you most needed to hit.
The Earp's are a textbook example of the old saying "History is written by the victors."
The other side was denying the incident and we didn't suffer any casualties. Assuming we were able to rescue our disabled ship, then no, this incident wouldn't have led to anything.
In fact it may have even led to an easing of the tension in the area. The Migs had been flying near our ships for months, and the tension was high. They tried to get aggressive with our fighters, we laid the smack down, now they'll back off.
I would rather not have Amy Schumer's or Judd Apatow's opinion on any topic ever.
May not be a plothole, but just simply an unanswered question.
I read a fan theory that I think is possible that Kramer was actually a widower, and his wife died shortly before Jerry moved in. And either she was very wealthy and left her money to Kramer, or she died in a terrible accident and Kramer won a huge settlement (thanks to his attorney Jackie Chiles).
And also consider that he was based on Kenny Kramer, who according to Larry David never really had a normal job, and always seemed to be coming up with schemes for money.
In this movie, Foster would have been better.
But for T2, Hamilton was perfect for that role. And I guess the transformation of Sarah in-between movies was a big part of that, so I guess in the end the movie was better off with Linda Hamilton.
Just getting invited to be on The Tonight Show once was a huge achievement. Then to have Johnny invite you over to the couch was almost like becoming a "made guy". So yes, he was very well known for his stand up.
I'm guessing you're too young to remember how big of a deal The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson was. Just to give you an idea, in May of 1981 (when Seinfeld first appeared) The Tonight show averaged an 8.1 rating. Colbert was the highest rated show last year with a 2.95. And if you added his show with Kimmel and Fallon, it's still under 6.5.
Maybe Goose was a life long nickname that was just made into his callsign.
According to HBO's website while the show was on, he got the nickname when he was a younger guy and working for Johnny Boy Soprano. He hijacked a truck that he thought was full of expensive electronics that would have been a huge score. The whole crew was at the warehouse when he opened the truck to reveal it was actually full of walnuts. So of course, everyone had to bust his balls about it and the nickname stuck.
