Or Doc could take whatever money he had left, and put it into some kind of long term, high interest bond. Then he would travel to whenever the bond would mature and go collect all his money. Then he can take that money back with him to 1985, and set up another bond at another bank, and do it again.
When we first meet Laurie, her father asks her to drop the keys off at the old Myers house. We see a sign for Strode Real Estate in front of the house, so obviously he's trying to sell it, but no one will buy it due to what happened there. As she approaches the front porch, we see her from inside the house and realize that Michael is there and saw her. From there he began to follow her and probably became obsessed with her.
1) Just like it was with Charlie. Get the Gobbstopper for me and give you whatever you want.
2) Biggest misconception people have about this movie. Wonka didn't care that much if the kids acted bad. He just needed to know that he could trust them with his secrets. Even if Charlie hadn't drunk the fuzzy liftie drink, Wonka would not have chosen him if he hadn't given back the Gobstopper.
3) Wonka tells us. They were all fine and back to their miserable selves, but maybe a little wiser.
4) Because she was obsessed with gum and an idiot. She probably would have been ok if she had spit it out before the blue berry. No, she didn't swallow it.
For the creators of this show: it's very intentional. Just based on some of Amanda's lines show that they know what they're doing and they're doing it with a wink at the audience. Also, one of Terry Silver's first lines "I actually spent a year of my life tormenting a high school karate champion." is absolutely hilarious.
Most of the actors on the other hand are taking it way seriously, which makes it even funnier.

And while Laurie and the kids would always insist that there was a man there who was trying to kill them, and it wasn't Dr. Loomis, some people will always be skeptical.

It would have been fitting if during the credits we see Fiona walking around backstage at a Lustra concert and finding her boyfriend under a pile of groupies. She's shocked by this and ask how he could do this to her? He shrugs it off as a normal occurrence on the road, which sends Fiona running off crying. He then looks at the girls and says, "I guess Fiona didn't know." He then looks at the camera like he just came up with their next big hit.
Well we can take Mike Barnes off the list.
And most likely it's not Silver.
I forgot to add Jessica from part 3 as a possible mother, but we can rule that out.
I was just rewatching the scene where Brody was running through town and right before we see the hot realty woman, we see the white picket fence with half the tops broken off, from the kid's karate class.
They never said who the enemy was. And they very deliberately went out of their way to be as unspecific as possible. And that is a part of the beauty of this movie and the original. They don't tell us to much, we don't want to know too much. Just let us know what's going on, and we'll go along for the ride.
They looked at him like a drunk, which he was.
And it's possible that he is still a nut. Just because aliens have actually now arrived doesn't necessarily mean he was actually abducted years ago. It's not like no one ever talked about aliens or being abducted before.
Not sure she was targeted that much more than Barry or Helen, but Ray was definitely targeted the least. And that was part of his plan in order to create dissention among the group.
I suggest you watch the next two episodes.
This one actually does a better job of not just blaming "toxic masculinity", unlike the HBO one. The greed of the promoters is called out, along with them outsourcing as much as they could so that they could not be blamed for the prices and poor conditions. Their complete lack of regard for providing decent security is well covered, most notably by the kid who admitted to selling his security shirts to concert goers so that they could go backstage. Then the press conference at the start of the third day where they are either in denial about what was happening or just lying.
But it doesn't let the "idiot frat boys" off the hook either. People are always responsible for their own actions, no matter how bad they are treated, and they knew what they were doing was wrong but continued to do so anyways. Most of the people there were smart enough to leave early on Sunday, after seeing how bad and out of control the conditions had gotten.
Check her IMDB page since 2006. I assure you; she should NOT feel too big to be in Cobra Kai.
Perhaps they will address that. Let's watch the show first, before we decide it doesn't make sense.
Hooper was originally going to be killed. But before they filmed the rest of the movie, they filmed the scenes with the shark underwater attacking the cage, using a mannequin or a little person as a stand in for Hooper. That's when they got the footage of the shark caught on top of the cage. The footage was too good not to use, but the only way it made sense was for Hooper to have escaped, so they changed the script.
Nah

The more you think about this movie, the stupider it starts to look.

Yeah, that's kind of the point. This is the kind of movie that you just turn off your brain and go along for the ride. Try not to ask to many questions because there's not going to be very many good answers.
But to answer your question, Matrix even says that they will kill his daughter even if he carries out the job. And Bennett won't stop until either he or Matrix is dead. Also let's consider that there was probably a reason they overthrew the dictator. Wouldn't be surprising if he was killing his own people and would do so even more if he regained power.
Dutch is the top candidate to be Tory's father.
Alex Kittner and the dog were killed on June 29th. The girl was eaten in the early morning that same day.
Assuming the Orca took off on July 5th, the Shark would have been destroyed on the 6th.
Even with the shark's slow digestive system, the first 3 victims have long since been digested. Even the 4th of July victim would be gone by then if Hooper's 24-hour suggestion was accurate. So, at most there might have been Quint's remains in there. But as others have stated the sharks head was the only part to really explode, the rest stayed mostly intact.
It could be true that she wanted Leia to be more feminine and was tired of having her breast taped down. But I don't think that metal bikini was quite what she had in mind. Surely there was something in between that could accomplish both.
And let's be careful with how much we believe interviews from the time. There're many possibilities. Maybe she did hate it at the time but wouldn't dare speak out about it when they were promoting the movie, for fear that it would hurt the box office, as well as her reputation. Or maybe she was ok with it at the time, but as she got older and got more perspective on it, she felt more exploited by it and regretted doing it. And less we forget she was doing drugs at that time, including coke, which can lead to some odd life choices.
